Whoopee Land to chill in all month


If you are looking to chill in this hot summer and relax your mind and body then Whoopee Land is one stop destination.

Whoopee Land has opened its operations from 6 July in naturally beautiful place called Chovar which is 9 km far from the Kathmandu. In this amusement park, any age group people can have fun in any month.

The newly-constructed amusement and water park is the second water park in Valley after the Sangha-based Kathmandu Fun Valley.

This amusement park covers 60 ropani area and prepared with the investment of 25 crore has total of 17 rides and numerous other attractions. Everyone with any age group can enjoy in Whoopee Land with different rides and games.

A massive sculpture of The Incredible Hulk stands near the entrance, accompanied by Neytiri from The Avatar and Shrek, the Ogre, giving a Disneyland-esque air to the park. A Jurassic Park with mechanical dinosaurs sits on the edge as well. Two rides are reserved for the daring vistors: The Frisbee and The Ranger. Families may also relish on The Swing Ship, The Octopus or The Bull Ride. Zorb Ball, a sport in which (willing) participants are put in a large transparent ball and rolled around, is also available at the park.

The main attractions of Whoopee Land are its four water slides. The park also offers special attractions for whoopee-landchildresn like Play Pen and swimminging pools. The park also have resturants, food stalls and gift shops. It has also introduce a cash card system to make all purchase easier.

Within four days of its operation, the park has witnessed 7 thousands people. The certain amount collected from the amusement park’s ticket will be utilized on the development of tourism in Chovar.

The fares for the park have been established at Rs 675 and Rs 375 for adults and children respectively on weekdays and Rs 875 and Rs 475 on Saturdays and public holidays. The park have given special 40% discount for 2 weeks since opening day to attract more people.
