Bada Dashain celebrated across the nation and abroad
The biggest festival of Nepalese, Bada Dashain has been celebrated across the nation and abroad by receiving blessings and family gathering on Thursday.
On the auspicious day of Bijaya Dashami, Nepalese people received tika, jamara and blessings from elders as the auspicious item bestowed by the goddesses Nawa Durga, Mahakali, Mahalaxmi and Mahasaraswati. .
This year, Dashami and Navami felt in the same day. People have also worshipped their means of transportations by first cleaning them and worshipping them.
Beside transportation difficulty triggered by fuel shortage due to India’s ‘unofficial blockade’, the people here managed to visit their homes and relatives for celebrating the festival.
