Earthquake in Myanmar, felt in Nepal too
Earthquake of magnitude 6.8 hit Myanmar on Wednesday afternoon.
The earthquake was also felt in eastern and central Nepal as well.
According to the international media, tremors were felt in various parts of India, Bhutan, Bangladesh and Thailand as well.
The US Geological Survey said the quake hit Wednesday afternoon and was centred about 25 kilometres (15 miles) west of Chauk, an area west of the ancient capital of Bagan.
