Galaxy Note 7 specs show 5.8-inch curved Quad HD display with many more

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Note 7 will ship with a curved display of 5.8 inch just like that on the Galaxy S7 edge, according to a new report.
In recent weeks, Galaxy Note fans have been wondering whether Samsung’s next flagship phablet would be available in two variants.
The rumors have told us that a curved model is coming, but we suspected a second variant with a flat display would accompany it.
Now a report out of South Korea tells us that won’t be the case. Instead, Samsung will be giving the Galaxy Note 7 a dual-curved display as standard and we’ll just have to live with it — or buy another flat phone. But that screen is supposed to be rather nice, coming in a 5.8-inches with a Quad HD resolution paired with a 4,000mAh battery to keep those pixels running and 6GB of RAM.
We’ll have to wait and see what that means for the beloved S Pen stylus, which might not be quite as useful on curved glass. But this move is likely to upset plenty of Galaxy Note fans who might still view curved displays as a gimmick.
The Korea Herald adds that the Galaxy Note 7 will make its official debut at an event in New York in August — as recent leaks revealed. Samsung is also expected to introduce a special edition of the Galaxy S7 for the Rio Olympics.
