Girl drown while taking selfie in Narayani River

The body of a girl who went missing while taking selfie in the Narayani River has been found on Thursday morning.

Smita Gyawali, 18, of Gaindakot municipality, Nawalparasi felt off and plunged into the river on last Sunday while taking selfies, five days ago.

A team deputed from Narayangarh Ward Police Office, Chitwan found the dead body on the Narayani River bank.

The police and locals were searching for her actively.

According to Republica, the police team had found her dead body some 50 meters away from incident site on Thursday moring at 5.00 as shared by Police Inspector Satya Narayan Thapa.
