Justin Bieber charged with criminal assault in Toronto

Justin Bieber has been charged with criminal assault for allegedly attacking a limousine driver in December. Justin was charged after he turned himself into Toronto Police at about 7:35 p.m. ET on January 29.

The 19-years-old teen pop singer isn’t just getting into trouble in Miami Beach Florida. But he is now reportedly facing an assault charge following a December 30 incident in Toronto.

Will Justin be heading to jail again?

Justin arrived to police headquarters in an SUV and was immediately swarmed by screaming fans. Officials escorted him into the Toronto Police Department amid a hectic scene full of pushing, shoving and swearing.

Justin has been charged with criminal assault, but he will not be held in police custody. He will leave the station after being “processed,” CBC reports. He will be officially charged at the 52 Division police station at 7:00 PM Eastern time, a source close to the singer told CBC News. He was also given a notice to appear at a later date.

On Sunday, Dec. 29, Justin attended a Toronto Maple Leafs game at the Air Canada Centre, and police were called to University Ave. and Dundas Street West later on that evening.

However, police were not sure if it was a member of Justin’s entourage or the singer himself assaulted their own limo driver who was bringing the group around Toronto.
