Media Cup Title goes to Image Channel
The sixth Vigin Media Cup Football Tournament that held on June 26, Tuesday was won by Image Channel by defeating Nepal Television by 6 goals at Dasharath Stadium.
When the Image Channel striked 6 goals on the goal post of Nepal Television, Nepal Television were not able to score even a one. So the match concluded with the score of 6-0.
Sambandh Pradhan and Madhav Bhandari completed a brace each while Sunil Tamrakar and Pujan Shrestha scored a goal each for the Image.
With this win, Image Channel has also recovered the lost that they suffered last year against the Nepal Television. So we must say,”What a come back, isn’t it?”.
The winners, Image Channel has bagged a cash prize of Rs. 50,000 while the runner-up Nepal Television had to satisfy in Rs. 25,000.
The player of the tournament was rewarded to Sambandh Pradhan of Image Channel whereas the highest scorer award was given to Pujan Shrestha of Image Channel as well.
