Nepal Day in Ireland
Nepal Day is the event which is going to be organized in Dublin, Ireland by Embassy of Nepal for Ireland and the UK in co-ordination with Nepalese Community and Friends of Nepal in Ireland on 29th September, 2013.
Nepal is the country of diversity of ethnic, food, culture, art, religion and landscape and to celebrate this diversity, the event is going to be held in Ireland.
The main objective of the event is to promote Nepal and to make aware about the diversity of Nepal among the people in Ireland . And to encourage Irish people to visit Nepal.
Nepal is also the birth place of the light of Asia, Lord Buddha and the Land of the highest peak of the world, Mt Everest. Nepal have got something for everyone.
Those who loves adventures, they would enjoy trekking, paragliding, bungy jumping, etc. Those who loves nature, surely they don’t like to miss the spectacular view of mountains, landscape, animals, birds, geological studies etc. And no matter if your interest is culture and heritage then Nepal have got plenty of it too. No matter if you are foodie too, Nepal with multiple ethnic have rich tastes in variety of foods.
So to promote those things to the world, the organizers believe that this event might play a vital role. The organizers also believe to attract some 4,000 people to join the event.
The main attraction of the event are Nepalese Food Festival, Nepalese Cultural Program, Photo Exhibition on Nepal Culture, Landscape, Architecture, Mountaineering and General Lifestyle(27th-29th September), Talk Program on Mountaineering and Climbing by Irish Mt. Everest Submitters and Climbers and Nepalese Handicrafts Stalls and much more.
