Nepal listed in the places to go in 2014 in world
Nepal was successfully listed in the list of the places to visit in 2014. Among the list of 52 places, Nepal is listed in 45th position which was published in NYtimes.
This will definately helps to promote the tourism from all over the world in this year.
According to the website, Nepal has been defined as the Himalayan Kingdom and the home to eight of the world’s 10 highest summits which includes Mt Everest too.
A Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation subcommittee recommended last September that Nepal allow access to 165 new peaks in the Kanchenjunga massif this year — 13 of them above 23,000 feet — the world’s mountaineering community was aflutter.
Definately this will help to develop Nepal as one of the adventurous spot to visit in the cheaper budgets. Nepal has also other adventurous sports like paragliding, bungy jumping, rafting, etc except the mountains and summits.
And ofcourse, Nepal is a rich country in the cultural and religious values and one would experience the religious and cultural diversity in the country which would give them the taste of difference.
