No load shedding during SAARC Summit
There will be no load shedding during SAARC Summit in Kathmandu, Janakpur, Lumbini, Muktinath and Dhulikhel, informed by Minister for Energy Radha Gyawali.
There will be no power cut as 170 Megawatts of electricity is being imported from India out of demanded 500 Megawatts, speaking in an interaction at Reporters’ Club.
She further added that there will be less power cut in dry season this year as compared to the previous years.
“SAARC Framework for Energy Cooperation Agreement is one of three major issues to be disused during the summit,” she said, “After the agreement is signed, Nepal’s electricity will enlighten the entire region.”
