Rs 567 millions budget approved for Fiscal year in Pokhara
A budget of Rs. 567.772 million has been approved in the 18th town council meeting of the Pokhara Sub-Metropolitan City for the fiscal year 2014/15.
Of the total budget, Rs. 294 million would be met through internal income and Rs. 273.772 million through government’s grant. The budget is 47 per cent more than the previous fiscal year 2012/13.
The sub-metropolis has allocated Rs. 292.976 million towards infrastructure development, Rs. 89.046 million towards population and social development, Rs. 45.755 million towards agriculture, forest and environment, Rs. 15.5 million towards soil and water resources management and Rs. 124.495 million towards administration and organisation.
